Dr. Ramesh Srinivasan of Eco-Catalyst in Sunnyvale, CA had a mission: to help recyclers and materials recycling facilities make smarter more profitable decisions, which would also be planet friendly. When he began looking for a development partner for his application, Smart EOL™, an associate’s referral connected him to Innovare Technologies.
Business Challenge
As a start-up, Eco-Catalyst required a cost-effective development strategy and resources with both technology clout and the ability to understand the nature of and business goals for the company. Smart EOL™, offering decision support data and analytics needed to be cloud based, sold primarily through online subscription, and easy to enhance for subsequent releases with new features and functionality.
Project Overview
Early stage efforts found Innovare working alongside Dr. Srinivasan as he defined the product requirements, performing comprehensive analysis to determine the most economic and technically feasible platform for Eco-Catalyst. Innovare’s background in ASP .NET, SQL SERVER, AWS, AJAX, MVC, PHP AND MY SQL, ability to manage the entire development lifecycle process, and adherence to best practices for quality assurance made for timely delivery and smooth deployment of Smart EOL. Innovare also provided substantial support to the establishment of infrastructure required for the company to support a subscription sales model on its website and other aspects of the sales process.
Outcomes and Looking Forward
The simple, straightforward Smart EOL interface makes it easy for prospects to see the benefits to be gained from using the Eco-Catalyst solution in making decisions for their businesses. As future releases are mapped out, Innovare and Eco-Catalyst continue to collaborate designing them to meet with customer and market requirements, as well as overall business goals.
